We are Afam & Kwenza Onyenakala, Founders of Adaobi Fertility.

We are a British couple with a lived experience of fertility treatment in the United Kingdom. As we did not meet the eligibility criteria for NHS funding, we had no alternative but to go through the route of privately funded care. There were a number of challenges we faced along the way, but our faith in God, along with our personal resolve, enabled us to keep going and realise our dream. Inspired by the birth of our daughter after 5 rounds of IVF, the name Adaobi means 'first daughter of the family' in the Nigerian Igbo language. Our journey has birthed our passion to support couples who find themselves in a similar situation.
